What gave us the idea?

Years of going to DVD stores and not immediately finding what we were looking for, then asking the shop owners if they knew the Movie/TV Show we were going on about and receiving blank stares from them.

We were tired of this “tradition” and asked ourselves, “Why is there no easy source that has this info?", so we decided to create this source.

The Name - “Zenmeshuo Movies”?

Well, we found ourselves repeating one phrase over and over again while at DVD stores:
“Wo buzhidao zenmeshuo ‘Insert movie here’.” - "I don't know how to say 'Insert movie here'"

So we decided “Zenmeshuo Movies” – which literally means “How to say ‘Movies’.”
